light film and Volume

  1. Quite different images showing different color affects. The first image of a lamp(?) is quite interesting as an illuminant. The light is seen both through the volume of the lamp as well as projected onto the wall. An interesting specimen of both illuminant and volume.

The second images of the car draws my eye directly to the windshield which is both reflective of the sky as well as a dark film over the passengers in the car. The reflective quality is part of the characteristics of the glass and we will discuss transparency in the coming weeks. Good example of a film quality.

The final image of very strong casts of shadows shows how the sand becomes a very dark grey in string direct light and shadow. Good example of how surface can be changed in drastic contrasts.
